The band broke up

though not for the most unpleasant of reasons

The appearance money was not as lucrative as once promised and the teams bank account didnt have enough Swiss Francs to cover the UCI fines for feeding and debauchery during their races

and Bicycling Mag presented us with a lawsuit claiming that this photo made their magazine look too fun, enjoyable and informative.  So with our sponsors backing out at record pace due to our “bad boy” and/or “poor rider” image that we were plastering on fans faces throughout the mid Atlantic, we hit our fork in the road.

With not enough barriers to hop for cash and not enough skillz to hop said barriers, this minivan moved back to green pastures and poorly maintained roads of Boone NC.  Here I hope to make some sort of impression on the NC series in a more animated capacity than I have been able to previously.  The band will reunite later this season for a Louisville-Asheville-Hendersonville week of showdown racing.

So in the meantime I’ll be firing up my old holdout and Ryan will be duly updating his with thrilling anecdotes and daily lessons imparted by Benny, Jenny and the children at his community center

eat it up and enjoy.  Maybe.

Supposedly it’s harder to win than it is to lose

Hiatus

Well the dream is over.  Hmmmm maybe not over, but the dynamic duo of Pro or Bust is currently taking some time away…away from each other.  We still have some tricks up our sleeves, but Noah has returned to Western North Carolina for the time being, and I’ll stay in Virginia.  After talking it over with our coach, the ghost of STONEWALL JACKSON, he saw it fitting that we divide our resources thus conquering the most Euros in the upcoming races.

We will still race three more UCI weekends together.

New goals consist of beating at least one European in the following months.

Round 2.

My full race recap can be found at FAWLEY.  This weekend Pro or Bust will be stepping up to the plate, once again, at Charm City Cross.

Yep.

Pro or Bust reporting from our mobile command center, the mini van. We are full tilt with perfect morning poops and a on time departure from the Gladiator School.  Hang over free we will arrive to the Mt. Nittany ‘cross course with standing water, according to insider Bryan Fawley, in 3.5 hours.  Wish us good luck not to hit a duck.

With anxious arms,
Pro or Bust in their first team racing endeavor.
